CATAMARAN STANDS

Our Catamaran Stands are designed with strength, adjustability, and real-world yard use in mind — giving your cat the proper support it needs, every time it comes ashore.

If you’ve tried supporting a catamaran with gear that was never made for the job, you know the issue: too much wobble, not enough contact, and a compromise you can’t trust.

At The Yacht Leg and Cradle Company, we decided it was time for a better solution. So we took the proven strength of our XL Cradle System and re-engineered it specifically for multihulls.

These Catamaran Stands use the same rugged 350mm square head plate and reinforced collar adjusters trusted to support yachts up to 85ft. Now they’re optimised for the wide-beam footprint of a catamaran.

Each stand offers:

Fine screw adjustment via reinforced collar
Three-position pin system for quick height changes
850mm–1300mm working range to the pad centre

Whether you’re working on uneven ground or levelling the boat for interior jobs, these stands give you the control you need. Every stand includes:

Removable 20mm strap pin on the inside face
Mounting point for included ratchet winch on the outside face

When a catamaran comes out of the water, stability is everything. Our system locks your stands together, creating a square, secure setup you can rely on.

BOAT DOLLY

Our modified Boat Dolly system is built for moving small to mid-sized boats with precision and control in confined or paved spaces such as workshops, showrooms, or boatyard floors.

Each dolly is sold as a pair, offering a combined Safe Working Load (SWL) of 4 tonnes (2 tonnes per dolly). While compact, these units are engineered for strength—the twin jack and headplate assemblies on each dolly can withstand over 6 tonnes without failure when properly aligned with the hull’s frame, ensuring safe and stable support.

Fitted with durable castor wheels—including a braked castor on each dolly—this system allows for excellent maneuverability on hard surfaces. The dollies are suitable for a range of hull shapes and are ideal for moving boats in and out of service bays, display areas, or workshops where space and precision matter.

This robust trolley features four removable arms that are fully adjustable to accommodate a wide range of hull widths. Each jack is designed to rotate and swivel, ensuring perfect contact with the hull for safe and secure support. The trolley is equipped with a fully articulated steering arm, which includes a removable tow eye for easy storage when not in use.

These trolleys were designed to handle both small (sub-6m) sailing yachts — with various fixed and folding keels — and motor launches. The trolleys are fitted with trailer-style wheels with pneumatic tyres. However, the use of these wheels and the articulated steering system limits the trolley’s load capacity to approximately 2,000kg. If required, we can convert the trolley to a bunk system to suit specific hull designs.
